GOLF AND GOLF TOURISM

One of our consultants, Iain Fraser, has significant experience in the specific area of golf and golf tourism. His experience includes:

• Advising several golf-related businesses on steps that can be taken to improve their marketing
• Conducting a feasibility study for a BA Degree Programme in Golf Management for UHIMI
• Writing modules for Golf Event Management BA in Golf Management
• Delivering training in Golf Event Management on behalf of Glasgow University Business School, the University of Highlands and Islands and Rovaniemi Polytec in Finland
• Organising a five day conference in Scotland on behalf of the Club Managers Association of America's (CMAA) as part of their 'Continuing Professional Development/USA Business Institute of Management' Programme
• Between 2001 and 2004, Iain was also a Director of Golf Highland, the Government arm for the promotion of golf tourism
